Top Rank On ESPN Viewership, Ratings Up For June 16 Show

Top Rank's first show of the second week of fights resulted in an increase in viewership and ratings.

According to numbers released by Showbuzz Daily, the June 16 Top Rank on ESPN card averaged 350,000 viewers and drew a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demo (56th on cable for the day). This is up from the previous show, which took place on June 11. That card averaged 311,000 viewers and a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was 80th best on cable for that day.

Compared to the first Top Rank card back on June 9, the June 16 show did not perform as well in the ratings. The June 9 show averaged 397,000 viewers and drew a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic, good for 33rd on cable for the day.

The June 16 card was headlined by bantamweight contender Joshua Greer Jr. suffering an upset loss to Mike Plania by majority decision. The card opened with Giovani Santillan beating former world champion Antonio DeMarco by majority decision.
