Twitter Battle Leads To Bout At UFC Fight Night 113

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to the UFC Fight Night 113 card as Brett Johns will clash inside the Octagon against Mitch Gagnon, a fight that was put together after fans suggested the fight on Twitter.

Johns (13-0-0) has already earned one victory under the UFC banner, with that win coming over Kwan Ho Kwak at UFC Fight Night 99. Johns is a former Titan Fighting Championships Bantamweight Champion, defeating Anthony Gutierrez to win the gold at Titan FC 34. Johns is also a former Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion, the fighter defended the belt twice before heading to Titan FC.

Gagnon (12-4-0) will enter the fight while riding a two fight losing streak and the fighter hasn’t earned a victory in almost three years. Gagnon has won four fights in the UFC, with those four victories coming over Walel Watson, Dustin Kimura, Tim Gorman and Roman Salazar. Gagnon is fighting on a “Fight Night” card for the first time in just over two years, with his last appearance at such an event happening at UFC Fight Night 58.
