The knockout came 1:42 into the first round, with Ngannou catching Overeem with a picture perfect hook to put The Reem out cold. Here's the recap from Fightful's live coverage:

The round begins with Overeem immediately swinging at Ngannou, Ngannou grabs Overeem and he holds him against the cage wall. Ngannou attacks Overeem with a few strikes as he gets him on the cage wall, the referee separates the fighters for inactivity. The action resumes with Overeem destroys a swinging Overeem with a counter left hook and Overeem goes out cold.

As you would expect, Twitter went crazy over the big knockout.
