Former Bellator MMA Bantamweight & Featherweight Champion Joe Warren returns at Bellator 181 to fight Steve Garcia.

Warren (14-6-0) won the featherweight title when he defeated Joe Soto at Bellator 27 and he won the bantamweight title when he defeated Eduardo Dantas at Bellator 128. Warren lost his last opportunity at bantamweight gold when he dropped a decision to the aforementioned Eduardo Dantas at Bellator 166. Warren hasn’t earned a victory in almost one year, with his last victory coming over Sirwan Kakai at Bellator 161 in September 2016.

Garcia (7-1-0) has won five of six fights under the Bellator MMA banner, which includes a win over CES MMA Bantamweight Champion Kin Moy at Bellator 123. Garcia is going to be making his Bellator MMA main card debut in this fight, as his previous six fights came on the promotions preliminary cards. Garcia has seen half of his bouts in Bellator MMA end via decision, while the other half of those fights end via KO/TKO.

Bellator 181 takes place on Friday, July 14 from the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Patricky Freire and Derek Campos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
