Two More Fights Added To Bellator 189, Including UFC Veterans

A pair of fights have been added to the Bellator 189 card as Sam Sicilia faces Marcos Galvao and Alexis Dufresne faces Amber Leibrock.

Sicilia (15-8-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and he is coming off of a 12 fight run in the UFC, where he earned a record of 5-7-0. Sicilia also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, losing to Chris Saunders in the second round of the reality show.

Galvao (18-8-1) is a former Bellator MMA Bantamweight Champion and he defeated Joe Warren at Bellator 135 to win the title. Galvao has also been winless since moving up to the featherweight division, losing to Emmanuel Sanchez by decision at Bellator 175.

Dufresne (6-3-0) has won just one of two under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Marloes Coenen at Bellator 155. Dufresne also competed twice in the UFC, dropping fights to the duo of Sarah Moras and Marion Reneau.

Leibrock (2-1-0) is going to be making her Bellator MMA debut in this fight and she has spent her entire pro career in Invicta FC. Leibrock did win two of three fights during her time in Invicta FC, defeating both Marina Shafir and Amy Coleman.

Bellator 189 takes place on Friday, December 1 from the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Julia Budd and Arlene Blencowe headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
