Two more fights have been added to Invicta Fighting Championships 22 as Ayaka Hamasaki faces Livia Renata Souza and Jonh Yu Frey faces Janaisa Morandin.
Hamasaki (14-1-0) is the current Invicta FC Atomweiht Champion, she will be moving up to the strawweight division for this fight. Hamasaki has defended the championship twice since winning it in July of 2015, defeating both Jinh Yu Frey and Amber Brown.
Souza (9-1-0) will be competing for the first time since losing the Invicta FC Strawweight Title to Angela Hill at Invicta FC 17. Souza won the strawweight title by defeating Katja Kankaanpaa at Invicta FC 12 and would defend it once against DeAnna Bennett at Invicta FC 15.
Frey (5-2-0) will be competing for the first time since losing the atomweight title shot to Ayaka Hamasaki at Invicta FC 19, she lost the fight due to a bad cut over her eye. Frey has three wins under the Invicta FC banner, those three wins have come over Cassie Robb, Liz McCarthy and Herica Tiburcio.
Morandin (9-0-0) will be making her Invicta FC debut in this fight and she is a longtime veteran of the Aspera Fighting Championships promotion. Morandin has only competed twice in the last two years, which saw her earn victories over Lavinia Ione and Paula Viera Da Silva.
