A pair of title bouts will headline the One Championships: Pinnacle Of Power event as flyweight champion Adriano Moraes faces interim flyweight champion Geje Eustaquio for the undisputed flyweight title, while Xiong Jing Nan defends the women’s strawweight belt against Laura Balin.
Moraes (17-2-0) is going to be making the second defense of his championship, last defending it against Danny Kingad at One Championships: Legends Of The World. Moraes hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost three years, with that last loss coming against Kairat Akhmetov at One Championships 34.
Eustaquio (10-6-0) became the interim champion with a unanimous decision win over Kairat Akhmetov at One Championships: Global Superheroes. Eustaquio has spent the last five-plus years competing in One Championships, earning a 7-5-0 record in the promotion.
Nan (11-1-0) is making the first defense of her championship, which the fighter won by defeating Tiffany Teo at One Championship: Kings Of Courage. Nan enters the contest riding a six fight winning streak and she hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost three years.
Balin (10-2-0) is making her One Championship debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Balin also returns to action for the first time in two years, as her last MMA bout took place in June of 2016.
One Championship: Pinnacle Of Power takes place on Saturday, June 23 from the Studio City Event Center in Macau, China with Xiong Jing Nan and Laura Balin headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on the One Championship app.
