Tyron Woodley Calls Out Conor McGregor: Quit Being A B-tch And Let's Fight

MMA

Tyron Woodley wants to fight Conor McGregor.

Ever since Conor McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov last October, everyone under the sun has been angling for a fight with McGregor. And for good reason seeing as a bout with the former double champion will likely be the biggest payday of any fighter's career. Woodley has been a long-rumored opponent as McGregor previously teased the idea of going up to 170 to become a triple division champion and Woodley was the UFC Welterweight Champion at the time of those teases. Despite reports and teases of various fights, it's unknown when McGregor will step into the cage again.

Speaking to TMZ, Woodley was asked what he would do if he could book McGregor's next fight.

"I’d tell him sit your ass down and fight Tyron Woodley at 170. You just lost in a world title fight. You aint in no position to call no shot. You lost," stated Woodley. "You started a huge religious, cultural war. You just got into some smoke by smashing a fans phone. You’re constantly in trouble and constantly get passes. You get through Tyron and we’ll talk. He wants to fight Cerrone — never been a champion. He wants fight Nate Diaz — never been a champion. He wants to rematch Khabib immediately. I’m not getting an immediate rematch. Come get this smoke. Where you at Conor? Quit being a bitch. Lets fight. I'll fight him in Ireland. The fucking back alley at White Castle. Ya'll wanna go to Russia? The TMZ newsroom? I aint gonna need that much time."

Woodley is coming off a loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 235. A return fight for Woodley has not been announced.
