Tyron Woodley On Nick Diaz: “He’s Done Enough In His Career” To Be In The UFC Hall Of Fame

Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has fought a lot of high caliber fighters throughout his professional MMA career, but one person he has yet to battle is Nick Diaz.

Despite Woodley never facing Diaz in the Octagon, one thing the former champion believes is that Diaz has done enough to earn a spot in the UFC Hall Of Fame.

“He’s done enough in his career, in my opinion, to be inducted into the Hall of Fame,” Woodley said on The Hollywood Beatdown (via Lewis Mckeever of Bloody Elbow).

Diaz, who hasn’t competed since January of 2015, has defeated a lot of high-level competitors in his career, including: Chris Lytle, Robbie Lawler, Drew Fickett, Josh Neer, Gleison Tibau, Frank Shamrock, Scott Smith, KJ Noons, Evangelista Santos, Hayato Sakurai, Paul Daley and BJ Penn.

There is a chance that Woodley and Diaz could finally meet in the Octagon, as Diaz  is reportedly making a return to professional MMA competition next year.
