Alvarez and Poirier drew the highest rating for a single fight, with 1,360,000 fans checking out the lightweight division fight.
The UFC 211 pre-show also aired on FX and that drew an average of 522,000 viewers, while the post-fight show that aired on Fox Sports 1 drew an average of 329,000 viewers.
There was some stiff competition that night for the preliminary card, as the NHL Playoffs and NBA Playoffs aired opposite the four fight preliminary card.
UFC Fight Night 109 is going to be the next UFC event on the schedule, that event will be headlined by Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira. The main card and a portion of the preliminary card will air on Fox Sports 1, while two fights will air on UFC Fight Pass.
