There was no Bellator MMA this past weekend, but there was UFC 221 and a four fight preliminary card that aired live on Fox Sports 1.
The four fight preliminary card saw Dong Hyun Kim defeat Damien Brown, Israel Adesanya defeat Rob Wilkinson, Alexander Volkanovski defeat Jeremy Kennedy and Jussier Formiga defeat Ben Nguyen.
That four fight card brought in a total of 697,000 viewers, while the online streaming platforms Fox Sports Go and Fox Now brought in an additional 8,022 viewers.
It was the featured preliminary card bout between Dong Hyun Kim and Damien Brown that brought in the most viewers, with 821,000 people checking out the lightweight division affair.
Fox Sports 2 aired the pre-show due to the auto racing event on Fox Sports 1 and the drew 36,000 viewers, while the final minutes of that show on FS1 brought in 452,000 viewers. Fox Sports 1 aired the post-fight show and that brought in a total of 188,000 viewers.
Up next for the UFC is UFC Fight Night Austin this Sunday Night, with Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros competing in the main event. Bellator MMA also returns on Friday Night, with UFC veterans Roy Nelson and Matt Mitrione headlining that card.
