Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler earn Performance of the Night bonuses at UFC 257 after knocking out Conor McGregor and Dan Hooker, respectively.
Poirier and Chandler were each presented with $50,000 bonuses following Saturday night's big victories. Poirier finished McGregor via second-round knockout; meanwhile, Chandler made short work of Hooker with a first-round TKO.
They were not the only fighters awarded $50,000 bonuses. The promotion skipped the traditional Fight of the Night bonus and instead doubled up on the performance checks. Marina Rodriguez earned $50,000 for her second-round finish of Amanda Ribas, and Makhmud Muradov had Andrew Sanchez doing the chicken dance before stopping him in round three.
The UFC 257 early prelims and preliminary cards were littered with decisions — only one fight was stopped within the distance. The main card flipped the script with all but one fight shutting out the judges.
