A wild UFC 264 main event didn't last very long, but featured a ton of action including the sport's biggest star breaking his ankle. See all that and the rest of the highlights from Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor after the jump.
Dustin Poirier def. Conor McGregor via Doctor Stoppage (Rd. 1 5:00)
In the first round after a kick heavy approach to start the round from Conor McGregor, he attempted to jump a guillotine, but Dustin Poirier evaded that, and proceeded to spend most of round one in top position dropping very heavy ground and pound. Never the very end of the round, Conor got back to his feet, and after a missed strike exchange rolled his ankle and appeared to break his shin.
Post-fight, it was clear there is now very bad blood between these two, Dustin clearly took a lot of the trash talk to heart, and was not overly kind in his post-fight speech. McGregor on the other hand gave a speech while lying on the ground having his leg attended to, which was passionate, wasn't very classy, and made it clear he wasn't done with Dustin yet either.
