When Jose Aldo was pulled from his bout with Ricardo Lamas, it was Josh Emmett who stepped up to replace him. Taking a the fight on three weeks notice, few gave the 32-year-old little chance against a former UFC featherweight title contender and number three ranked contender. It took Emmett all of four minutes and 33 seconds to earn the respect of Lamas and the rest of the featherweight division.
