Four fighters are leaving UFC Vegas 12 with a little extra spending change.
Kevin Holland, Alex Hernandez, Adrian Yanez and Mile Johns were all awarded $50,000 for their performances on Saturday night. Each of the four men finished their opponents via knockout or TKO. No Fight of the Night bonuses were handed out.
Holland became the first fighter to earn four UFC victories in 2020 after defeating Charlie Ontiveros by verbal submission. Holland slammed his opponent down and Ontiveros verbally submitted shortly after. He suffered an alleged neck injury and was stretchered out of the venue.
Hernandez was in perfect form on the preliminary headliner, lighting up Chris Gruetzemacher with a boxing combination that ended things in round one. Yanez was a shoo-in for a bonus after finishing Victor Rodriguez with a head kick, and Johns folded Kevin Natividad with an uppercut in round three of the prelims opener.
