The undefeated Gane (8-0) has rattled off victories against Raphael Pessoa, Don'Tale Mayes, Tanner Boser, Junior Dos Santos and Jairzinho Rozenstruik since his promotional debut in August 2019. One of the most well-rounded fighters in the entire UFC, Gane has a staggering 5.04 significant strikers per minute which ranks 1st among active UFC heavyweights with at least 5 promotional fights and trails only (#7) Tom Aspinall who has 7.43 significant strikes per minute.
Volkov (33-8) holds back-to-back wins over Walt Harris and Alistair Overeem and has only come up short against Derrick Lewis and Curtis Blaydes since his UFC debut in November 2017.
