Video: 17-Year-Old Bella Mir Secures Finish In Second Pro Fight

Bella Mir, the 17-year old daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, secured her first career finish in just her second professional MMA bout.

Mir competed in her second pro-MMA fight on December 11 in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico. She put her opponent Alma Cespedes out cold with a slick rear-naked choke at just 1:53 of the first-round.

Mir (2-0) made her professional MMA debut this past October, defeating Danielle Wynn via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). After the bout, Bella had this to say in her post-fight interview:

“It means so much to me, having my first pro fight and following the footsteps of my dad,” Mir said. “I think the nerves just got me out of my head a little bit just because it was something different and I didn’t know what to expect, but that second and third round I started to get into it.”
