Israel Adesanya weighed well under the light heavyweight limit, and brought a pizza to snack on, at the UFC 259 weigh-in ahead of his fight with Jan Blachowicz.
Adesanya, who could have weighed as much as 205-pounds for the UFC light heavyweight title fight, hit the scales at 200.5-pounds on Friday. He traded out the MMA gloves for a box of pizza to the weigh-in.
This is in line with claims from Adesanya and his camp that he will not be bulking up significantly for Saturday's fight. Instead of trying to match Blachowicz's mass, Adesanya's camp planned to use their training camp to build the perfect gameplan and sharpest tools.
