Things got a touch out of hand at the UFC Vegas 9 weigh-ins between Zelim Imadaev and Michel Pereira.
UFC President Dana White had his hands full during Friday's weigh-ins. Imadaev and Pereira engaged in the traditional pre-fight stare down but things quickly fell apart. Imadaev caught Pereira with a firm face-wash, eliciting an audible "Woah!" from White as he stepped in. Pereira, to his credit, remained rather calm during the exchange.

Imadaev (8-2) and Pereira (23-11) are both coming off of losses. Imadaev lost to Danny Roberts by second-round TKO, and to Max Griffin via majority decision. Pereira gave up a disqualification to Diego Sanchez in February and lost a unanimous decision to Tristan Connelly before that.
UFC Vegas 9 takes place from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, September 5. The event is headlined by ranked heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Augusto Sakai. The card will air on ESPN+. Keep up with Fightful for all your fight night coverage.
