WWE Main Event Report For January 19: Alicia Fox vs. Dana Brooke & Darren Young Suffers An Injury


Welcome to this weeks edition of WWE Main Event, your broadcast team for the show consist of Tom Phillips, Austin Aries & Byron Saxton.

The show begins with highlights of the relationship between Alicia Fox, Cedric Alexander and Noam Dar.

Dana White Comments On Opening UFC Performance Institute In Mexico City

Alicia Fox vs. Dana Brooke

The match begins with Brooke taunting Fox while doing push ups, Fox does a split on the top rope before catching Brooke with a Thesz press. Brooke quickly retreats to the arena floor and Fox chases her back into the ring, Brooke kicks Fox before attacking her with shoulder thrusts in the corner. Brooke traps Fox in the ropes before smashing the back of her head on the mat below, Brooke drags Fox to the ring apron before smashing her chest with forearm smashes. Brooke then throws Fox into the barricade and then back into the ring, Brooke hits Fox with an elbow drop for a near fall before applying the body scissors.

Fox breaks free with an elbow strike before getting a pin attempt on Brooke, Fox then hits Brooke with a tilt-a-whirl slam for a near fall. Fox goes to the ring apron and she hits Brooke with a few shoulder thrusts to the midsection, Fox hits Brooke with the scissors kick for the three count.

Winner: Alicia Fox

Our first Raw Flashback shows the huge brawl between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar.

The next Raw Flashback shows the confrontation between WWE Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte and Bayley.

Epico w/Primo vs. Darren Young w/Bob Backlund

The match begins with Young taking Epico down and applying the chin lock, Epico reverses things by applying a headlock to Young. Epico catches Young with a few quick pin attempts and Young does the same to him, Young then knocks a charging Epico out of the ring with a roaring elbow strike. Backlund throws Epico back into the ring and Young rolls him up for a near fall, Young knocks Epico to the ring apron and Primo interferes to help Epico knock him to the arena floor. Young apparently suffered an injury and cannot continue the match.

Winner: No Contest

The Kurt Angle WWE Hall Of Fame video airs next.

The final Raw Flashback shows Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho defeating Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins & Sami Zayn, then Owens puts Reigns through the Raw announce table after the match.
