New WWE Raw Women's Champion Crowned, History Made (Videos Included)

Alexa Bliss crushed the dreams of Bayley, and made history in the process.

In Bayley's hometown of San Jose, California, Alexa Bliss snagged the Raw Women's Championship from her grasp. Bliss became the first woman to ever hold the Raw Women's Championship and the Smackdown Women's Championship, which she did this year alone.

This becomes Alexa Bliss' third reign as a women's champion in the WWE, following two runs with the title on Smackdown. Bliss was able to pick up the win after a DDT.  You can see an excerpt of our live coverage below.

Alexa hits a code red off of the second rope for a near fall, then misses Insult to Injury, Bayley dropping her with a running knee, then hitting an elbow drop off of the top rope for a near fall. Alexa slaps Bayley and Bayley attacks her in a rage before Alexa shoves her away, then Bayley rolls her up, but Alexa kicks out and Bayley goes face first into the ring post. Bayley rolls Alexa up for a near fall, then Alexa hits a DDT for the pin and the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss via pinfall
