Report: WWE Planning On Bringing In UK Stars Soon

WWE's UK roster has been largely forgotten since the WWE UK Tournament, back in January, but WWE plans to bring in their top stars into the United States more often.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan is for WWE to bring in Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, Wolfgang, WWE UK champion Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews into the United States in a few weeks. Their roles are not determined, but there is a chance that some of these wrestlers may be a part of the NT TakeOver: Brooklyn III show later this month. Whether or not they will compete on the actual show or on the post-TakeOver NXT tapings at the Barclays Center.

The UK show that WWE had been advertising for months is still on hold. The show was originally supposed to start back in June. Since the UK show has yet to materialize, several members of the UK roster competing on NXT television for the past few months. Only a handful of title defense were on NXT, with Pete Dunne's title win over Tyler Bate taking place at NXT TakeOver: Chicago.

With no UK show for WWE, the roster has been competing on the indies, with Dunne defending his title at a recent ICW show and will defend his title against Jack Gallagher at a PROGRESS wrestling show in New York on August 12.
