This is the Fightful.com recap for this week's episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling! The Kingdom makes its return tonight in the main event against Bullet Club and much more!
Toru Yano vs Michael Elgin
The match starts and Yano tries to knock the big guy down, but he can't and gets knocked down. They exchange forearms then once Yano is back up, he offers Elgin a handshake then Elgin drops him with the grip of his hand shake. Elgin sends Toru to the outside then Yano gets back in the ring and cuts off the turnbuckle pad, hitting Elgin with it afterwards as we go to commercial.
Yano is in control as we come back, trying to take another turnbuckle pad off while choking Elgin in the corner. They try to ram each other into the exposed turnbuckle repeatedly then Elgin hits a powerslam. Elgin hits splashes in the corner then Yano tries to pull his hair, Elgin saying he has none so Yano pulls his beard. Elgin hits a falcon arrow for a close 2 count then clubs him from the front and back, the two exchanging inverted atomic drops. Elgin then takes the turnbuckle pad off then hits Yano with it, taking a page out of his playbook. Elgin goes for a buckle bomb then Elgin gets catapulted into the corner face first. Yano uses the referee as a shield then hits a low blow into a roll up for a close 2 count. Elgin drops Yano on the exposed turnbuckle then hits a lariat for a close 2 count of his own. Elgin follows up with a sitout powerbomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: Michael Elgin via pinfall
Dragon Lee vs Bobby Fish
They adhere to the code of honor to start then exchange holds via a wrist lock then headlocks then a shoulder lock before Fish goes to the outside to regroup. Lee hits an arm drag that sends Fish to the outside again and as soon as he comes back in Lee puts a leg scissor on Fish, targeting all of his limbs, Fish visibly effected by his cracked ribs that are heavily taped up. They exchange forearms in the center of the ring then Lee hits a kick to the ribs of Fish. Lee hits a huricanrrana that sends Fish to the outside then dives out onto him as we go to commercial.
Fish is in control as we come back, Fish hitting a float over suplex for a quick 2 count then turns him inside out with a lariat. Lee hits a rebound German suplex.Fish hits a series of kicks to Lee for a quick 2 count then Lee puts on an STF, but Fish is quick to the ropes. Lee then hits a five star cradle for the pin and the win and wins a future shot at the TV title.
Winner: Dragon Lee via pinfall
The Kingdom vs The Dream Team
Matt Taven brings out his revived Kingdom as he is joined by TK O'Ryan and Vinnie Marseglia and they immediately go right after Adam Cole and the Young Bucks. Everyone brawls around the outside with The Kingdom in control as we go to commercial.
As we come back The Dream Team hit a triple superkick then The Kingdom are hit with a trouble apron powerbomb then they dive out onto them, in complete control. Cole puts a camel clutch on Vinnie then O'Ryan and Taven break it up, triple teaming Matt who tries to fight his way out of it, an interesting dynamic as both teams are playing both face and heel in this it seems. The Kingdom keeps Matt isolated then gets a quick 2 count off of a double team move. Vinnie hits a leg sweep then tags in Taven who hits a springboard moonsault for a close 2 count. Matt is turned inside out by O'Ryan for a quick 2 count then The Kingdom takes care of Nick and Adam on the apron before doing a triple team move for a close 2 count. Matt tags in Nick who takes care of O'Ryan and Marseglia as we go to commercial.
Nick takes out the entire Kingdom as we come back then Adam Cole comes in against Taven. They exchange forearms in the center of the ring then Cole hits a series of kicks for a close 2 count after a shining wizard. Cole takes out two members of The Kingdom then Taven hits a swinging neckbreaker for a close 2 count. They hit a triple assist powerbomb on Cole for a quick 2 count that The Bucks break up then Taven hits a bicycle kick. The Bucks take out Taven with double superkicks to everyone, following it up with Canadian destroyer for a very close 2 count that TK breaks up. Matt comes in and they go for a double Indie Taker, but Nick is dragged off the apron. Taven hits The Clima and Vinnie hits a swanton bomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: The Kingdom via pinfall
