Several Talent Unhappy With Impact Agent Departures

Shortly after Fightful.com revealed the departures of Shane Helms, Al Snow and Pat Kenney, we reached out to several Impact Wrestling names.

The moves were unanimously panned. Although Sonjay Dutt and Abyss have taken advanced roles and are liked backstage, the idea of cutting those who were working as producers wasn't one that received positive responses.

"He's our best and most hands on agent, so obviously I'm thrilled," said one big name, sarcastically.

Snow and Helms had both also stepped up and worked as on-screen characters for Impact in recent years during tough times with the company. That was pointed out by a former employee, who said that the move saved Impact thousands of dollars.

"It didn't save the company or anything, but it saved the company thousands of dollars when they didn't have thousands of dollars to give. I doubt the new regime cares about those sacrifices, though."

It's worth noting that a third, currently employed talent that I reached out to said they found out this -- like almost everything else we ask them about -- on social media.

"You have a better chance of hitting the lottery than trying to figure out IMPACT Wrestling," they said.

Impact Wrestling has yet to respond to Fightful's request for comment. No word on how this shakes up Impact's upcoming PPV Slammiversary, on July 2. Fightful.com will have full, live coverage of the show.
