Shane Helms, Al Snow, Others Done With Impact- Money, Hardys Relationship Likely Played A Role

Former WCW and WWE star turned Impact Wrestling agent Shane Helms has left the brand, effective immediately.

The 42-year old Helms finished up his two-plus year run with the company, and unleashed a series of tweets on the move. He later confirmed to Fightful.com that he has left the company.

Helms found himself in the middle of the "Broken" universe, with his friends, The Hardy Boyz. This left him in a rather awkward position when the family were on the outs with Impact upon their departure.

The talent that Fightful spoke to regarding the manner first heard the news on social media. We were told that Helms' contract with Impact had expired and Jarrett preferred to keep his confidants around, especially considering money is thin. Another talent said that they wouldn't be surprised if Helms' relationship with the Hardys played a role in the situation. During tapings earlier this year, Helms received heat for the strenuous relationship between The Hardys, Ed Nordholm, Jeff Jarrett and others.

Also done with the company are longtime employees Al Snow and Pat Kenney, with Kenney let go after 14 years. Snow commented on the move on Twitter.

Fightful has reached out to Impact for comment on the matter. We were later told several talent are unhappy with the moves.
