Wendesday night's NXT tapings gave us a pretty solid look at the upcoming card for next month's NXT Takeover: Back to Brooklyn show.
As suspected, the two big matches on the show will feature Japanese imports Shinsuke Nakamura and Asuka headlining the show. Shinsuke Nakamura will look to become the first ever Japanese men's champion in NXT history, while Asuke will try to successully defend her Women's Championship against fan-favorite Bayley.
Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano look like they'll be getting a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships, as a program with The Revival kicked into high gear during the tapings. Ciampa and Gargano actually defeated The Revival one week before they became champions. Also on the show, American Alpha continued a feud with The Authors of Pain, but no match was announced.
Austin Aries and Nia Jax were both absent from the tapings, although No Way Jose called Aries out. Former TNA talent Bobby Roode does have a definite dance partner for NXT Takeover: Back to Brooklyn in Andrade 'Cien' Almas.
