UFC President Says Ronda Rousey The “Mike Tyson Of MMA”

Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey hasn’t been seen much since being flabbergasted by Amanda Nunes striking at UFC 207.

However, despite her recent setbacks in the Octagon, the UFC President in Dana White says that the former women’s bantamweight champion is the “Mike Tyson Of MMA.”

Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler Officially Announced For UFC 303, Will Take Place At Welterweight

“Our Tyson was Ronda (Rousey), man. Ronda had this aura of invincibility that we’ve never seen before. That’s why everyone was calling Ronda our Mike Tyson because she was the most dominant athlete on the planet. Conor (McGregor) is different. Conor is completely different than a Tyson – his verbal game, his picking the round,” White said on Bite The Mic.

Rousey’s future in the sport in uncertain at the moment, plus the reports of her making a run in professional wrestling have been heating up by the hour. The women’s MMA legend also popped up in the crowd during the recent taping for the Mae Young Classic, which starts airing in just a few short weeks.

The former women’s bantamweight champion also launched an official website recently, where she is promising some big news to be announced shortly.
