Cody Rhodes: Andrew Schulz Told Me He Could Help Me Against Pat McAfee

Cody Rhodes has love for Andrew Schulz.

Rhodes and Schulz are set to star in “Street Fighter” together, and on the set Rhodes became a fan of the comedian. So much so that he wishes Schulz was in Pat McAfee’s spot.

“The way Schulz is in the movie really blew me away. I got to see him making people laugh and a couple of sincere moments. He’s a special one. Really special one. He told me he could help me against McAfee,” Rhodes said on Matt & Shane’s Secret Podcast.

He continued, “Schulz also started a Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter. Everyone, I think, on stage thought the same thing, ‘Okay, we’ll back him because that’s our guy, but ehhh, I don’t know.’ I think it’s only going to get worse. Schulz is ready for a fight. He’s like my tag partner. I’m in. We got his back. Great guy. I wish he had jumped in the ring with his shades on, talking about the Attitude Era while I was laying there confused. I know him.”

Rhodes plays Guile in “Street Fighter” while Schulz plays Dan Hibiki.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Rhodes commented further on McAfee being part of the WrestleMania storyline. You can find his comments here.
