IYO SKY Is Grateful That Fans Call Her The Best In The World
IYO SKY comments on the label of “Best in the World.”
The best in-ring wrestler in the world is subject to opinion, but IYO SKY ranks high on any list, male or female, WWE or elsewhere.
Speaking on Ringer Wrestling with David Shoemaker & Kazeem Famuyide, IYO was asked if she considers herself the best wrestler in the world.
“Yeah, I really hope so. I’m doing my best, but I cannot say I am the best. If you guys are saying that, I’m so grateful. I will keep doing what I’m doing. I’m trying to do my best and show my best as much as possible. My ability or popularity when you watch is because I’m enjoying wrestling so much,” she said.
IYO was largely off television following WWE SummerSlam, but returned to the ring on Monday’s Raw.
People wondered about her absence, and was asked if fans are now paying more attention to her personal life once her marriage to Nakaru became public.
“I hope not [laughs]. I’m enjoying my life as a wrestler. My priority is wrestling and WWE for now. I definitely love my husband and I love you guys, that’s why I’m so focused on wrestling right now. I’m enjoying my life, too,” she said.
IYO competed in a triple threat Money in the Bank qualifying match on Monday’s Raw.
