Appearing on FS1 for the second straight bout, ?Mad Man? Marcos Hernandez was out to make a statement and protect his unbeaten record in a middleweight bout with rugged Antonio Urista.
For eight rounds, the two traded heavy leather, but Hernandez?s range and ability to control the action towards the ropes gave him a consistent advantage. However, he was pushed the distance, as Urista not only showed a strong chin, but was able to respond consistently with heavy shots of his own.
In the end, Hernandez left with a Unanimous Decision victory (80-71 x2, 79-72), improving to 9-0 (2 KO) while dropping Urista?s career mark to 7-2 (2 KO).
