Explaining why he tends to look this way, Kyle attributed this to a habit of doing hundreds of squat thrusts per night at the expense of sleeping only a few hours.

"What I will do, every night, it’s going to sound like I’m making it up, but I’ll set an alarm for every 20 minutes. When the alarm goes off, I’ll force myself out of bed and do 25 squat thrusts. Then I got back to sleep. The alarm gets ringing, I keep getting up and doing 25 thrusts. Over a night, I might get maybe two and a half to three hours of solid sleep, but I’m getting 100s of squat thrusts. You have a little bit of sad eyes and bagginess under your eyes, but I can crack a walnut between my thighs at a moment’s notice. It’s really kind of worth it," Kyle told Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp.

When asked if he was being serious, O'Reilly simply said, "Yes."

There you have it, folks. The key to perfect "sad eyes."
