Amazing Red Comments On Possible TNA World Title Chase, Says Leon Slater Motivates Him To Get Better
Amazing Red is motivated by Leon Slater.
Slater shocked the world at TNA Bound For Glory, where he defeated Nic Nemeth to finally capture the TNA World Championship. This was the final title change of the show, but the first switch belonging to Amazing Red, who won the vacant X-Division Championship.
Speaking with The Wrestling Classic for a new interview, Amazing Red was asked if he wants to go after the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
“Again, it was something that was not foreseen in my league, but I saw Leon capture it and brought it, I would be like this [waves], hey, I would like to be next for sure. Especially with Leon doing what he does so young, he’s very smart and very wise. He motivates me to get better and to do better. Just seeing someone like that win the title, it makes me feel like, you know what, I could do that too. I’m gonna try that too. But, we’ll go step by step, little by little. X-Division title, like I said, it’s a hard thing to hold on to right now.”
Leon Slater gave up the X-Division Championship to get his world title shot at Bound For Glory.
Back in October, Amazing Red talked about possibly bringing AJ Styles out of retirement. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
