Cody Rhodes Hopes Street Fighter Cast Makes Their Way Over To WWE

Cody Rhodes would love to see the cast of Street Fighter come to WWE.
With the release of the Street Fighter movie on October 16, Cody Rhodes has been making the rounds with more interviews. Rhodes played the role of Guile in this film, working with stars such as Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, Callina Liang, and more.
Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, Rhodes was asked if he went up to Jason Momoa and invited him to WWE. The American Nightmare didn’t give a direct answer, but he did say that he explained to everybody in the production that WWE loves to have celebrity guests.
“I think I tried to slowly, with everybody in the production, explain how we’re very open. We love to have guests. We love to try a celebrity moment. We love to promote the things that our boys and girls are in. So throughout the course of the deal, it was fun to explain to a whole different bubble. Whereas I’m in the wrestling bubble, what I do. It’s an open, that’s an open invite. Cause there’s some wrestlers in the cast that may not know they’re wrestlers. Like, Olivier [Richters], the Dutch Giant, who plays Zangief, is seven foot. I think he’s the biggest actor. That’s a no-brainer. Get him out. You don’t have to do anything. People run into you. Maybe one guy slams you. Maybe it’s me. No, there’s a lot of connections. So, I do hope they make their way over and see what I do as the day job, cause there was great synergy with WWE and Street Fighter.”
In another interview, Rhodes said that he personally thinks The Rock has a couple of matches left in WWE. Fans can read his full comments here.
