Darby Allin Says ‘It’ll Be Awesome’ To Have Mick Foley Around for AEW Double Or Nothing 2026

Darby Allin comments on having Mick Foley appear during the AEW Double Or Nothing Buy-In.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Foley would be making his first appearance with AEW at Double Or Nothing, as he is set to join Renee Paquette on the show’s buy-in pre-show. Foley is someone that has played a pivotal part in inspiring several AEW wrestlers, including the current AEW World Champion Darby Allin.

While speaking to Fox News Digital in a new interview, Darby Allin spoke about Mick Foley’s upcoming AEW appearance.

“He was one of my guys growing up because he was one of those guys, you flip through the TV and you’re like, ‘wait.’ Growing up, I don’t feel like I could relate to a lot of wrestlers, but him, being like this, Evel Knievel, stuntman performer, every night doing something – that was definitely inspiring, and it spoke to me because it’s everything I love. So, to have him around Sunday, it’ll be awesome. He’s definitely somebody I’ve looked up to.”
