Darby Allin speaks about competing in the New York marathon with no training this past weekend ahead of AEW Blood And Guts.
Over this past weekend, Allin would add another feat to his list of achievements outside of the world of pro wrestling, completing the New York Marathon in just over five and a half hours. Next, he turns his attention to competing in Blood And Guts tonight on AEW Dynamite, just days removed from his run.
While speaking to 1010XL’s Trent Osborne in a new interview alongside Steven Borden, Darby Allin would briefly discuss the marathon, noting that he is feeling every ounce of it heading into Blood and Guts.
“Yeah, thank you. Yeah, dude, I’m feeling every ounce of that. Because everyone’s like, yo, congratulations, and then I was like, dude, I wish I trained for that. I didn’t train once for it, and then… little did I know it was only going to be a few days removed from Blood and Guts. So I- and Blood and Guts is the most violent, crazy night of the year for AEW, and my legs are feeling all 26.2 miles of that marathon.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Paul Wight noted that Darby is ‘the ultimate babyface.’ You can read more about that here.
