Gunther Names Sheamus As The Wrestler He Most Wants To Retire
Gunther has become known as “The Career Killer” after ending the careers of Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles.
Appearing on Main Event Club, “The Ring General” was asked to blind rank which wrestlers he most wanted to retire.
Here was his list:
1. Sheamus
2. Brock Lesnar
3. Randy Orton
4. Rey Mysterio
5. CM Punk
He gave further insight, saying, “The thing with Brock is for publicity and is perfect. Sheamus, it’s a personal matter. I want to retire him. Subjectively, they are all good choices. On the main roster, Sheamus was my first big opponent, and he beat me up a lot. He made me earn it. I hope I can kick his ass on the way out.”
Sheamus is currently sidelined with an injury. It is unknown when he will return to the ring.
Gunther is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Clash in Italy.
