GUNTHER & Nick Aldis Get Into Physical Altercation During WWE Night Of Champions Post-Show, GUNTHER Calls Aldis A ‘Failed Wrestler’
GUNTHER confronts Nick Aldis.
The main event of the 2026 WWE Night of Champions Premium Live Event saw Sami Zayn emerge victorious from a Triple Threat featuring Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion.
During the post-show, a frustrated GUNTHER confronted SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who he’s been at odds with because of the Undisputed WWE Title picture.
GUNTHER asked Aldis if he was happy because he lost the title match, and the two began to exchange words. GUNTHER then said Aldis was jealous of him and called the General Manager a failed wrestler. A shoving match then broke out before the two were separated.
Aldis has not wrestled for WWE since coming on board as the on-screen General Manager of SmackDown. Aldis is a two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and a former holder of the TNA World Championship and World Tag Team Titles.
