At present the 2026 World Cup is currently taking place in the United States, Canada and Mexico, with teams from around the world converging on North America for the tournament. Pro wrestlers have discussed the upcoming event throughout the year so far, with some talent being no stranger to the world of football as their athletic careers began paying the world’s game.

While speaking to WhatCulture in a new interview, Indi Hartwell was asked by Simon Miller about not only the World Cup, but also about if she had a team she supported in her home countries A-League. Indi would respond that her team is Melbourne Victory, sharing that she actually used to be a ball girl for the team.

“My team is Melbourne Victory. I used to be a ball girl for them. I played soccer and our team, they would use us as the ball girls. They were sick. Got to meet all the players and throw the balls back.”

Elsewhere in another recent interview, Indi spoke about how Steph De Lander helped her following her WWE release. You can read more about that here.
