Ja’Marr Chase Touchdown Celebration Was Inspired By The Rock

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase scores a lot of touchdowns, and when he does, he gives a shoutout to The Rock on certain celebrations.

As part of his celebration, Chase holds his elbow and extends his arm. Former Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocino thought was a nod to Spider-Man.

Chase corrected him on the Nightcap podcast, saying, “It’s the people’s elbow. We on they head with it.”

Ochocinco has expressed his love for wrestling in the past, saying he wants to get in the ring with Seth Rollins.

The Rock has inspired a number of touchdown celebrations over the years, with the People’s Elbow celebration being featured in Madden games.
