Jay White is back.

At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Cope and Cage (Adam Copeland and Christian Cage) defended their AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors).

Towards the end of this bout, David Finlay attacked Christian Cage with the shillelagh. The referee was down during this interaction. As Finlay tried to hit Copeland with the shillelagh, the lights went out. The Bang Bang Gang appeared on the ramp. In the ring, fans saw Jay White standing.

White had been out of action for over a year. The Switchblade hit Finlay with the Blade Runner, and Copeland finished the job with a spear for the victory.
