Je’Von Evans Compares Working Under Shawn Michaels And Triple H, Explains Why NXT Style Pace Doesn’t Fit WWE Main Roster

Je’Von Evans lists out the differences between working under Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
Before joining the WWE main roster in January, Je’Von Evans worked under Shawn Michaels at NXT. He had many great matches as well as a World Title reign there. It’s been a few months since Je’Von started working under HHH on the WWE main roster, and he recently compared their approaches.
Speaking on ROAR Around The Ring, he said the following:
“I feel like I have a personal relationship with both of them. But with Shawn, he loves the quickness. Once you have the crowd, once you have their emotion and reaction, you want to keep them there. I feel like Shawn, he really helps us out with that in NXT. If the crowd is up here, you don’t want to bring them down to bring them back up. You want to keep them up there. So, that’s why, like sometimes in NXT, we go so fast cuz once the crowd is there, we got them. Then, with Uncle H, I feel like it’s more storytelling, more drawing out because we’re wrestling in front of so many people. You can’t go as fast as we do in NXT, because everybody in the rafters won’t be able to catch up and react to what we just did. You want to have time for people in the crowd to chill, react and be, ‘All right, okay. What’s next?’”
Elsewhere in the interview, Je’Von explained how he discovered he could be “bouncy” in the ring. Fans can read his full comments by clicking here.
