Judge Approves Motion That’ll Allow Marcel Barthel (Ludwig Kaiser) To Travel Within USA & Internationally During Case Against Him

An update on the criminal case against Marcel Barthel (Ludwig Kaiser).

There’s an update (via PWInsider) on the legal case involving WWE talent Marcel Barthel a.k.a. Ludwig Kaiser/El Grande Americano.

Barthel got into a physical altercation with another male in Florida, which led to him being arrested on a battery charge. Judge Andrew Cameron is presiding over the case. Judge Cameron signed off to approve a motion that’ll allow Barthel to travel within the USA and internationally for the duration of the case.

Barthel is required to appear at all future court dates.

The court documents have the following written about the altercation that led to Barthel’s arrest:

Entered the elevator and was followed by an unknown white male and an unknown white female. (Victim) stated that as the elevator ascended, the male and female began acting in an “uncontrollably intimate” manner, which he described as aggressively kissing.

(Victim) stated that once the elevator reached the 12th floor, he exited the elevator and told the couple to “please have some manners.” (Victim) advised that immediately after making the statement, the unknown male began attacking him. (Victim) described the attack as the male punching him multiple times and pushing him to the ground. (Victim) further stated the male made threats of additional violence toward him.

Kaiser, as El Grande Americano, will be headlining night one of Lucha Libre AAA’s Noches de Los Grandes event on May 30th in Monterrey, Mexico. He’ll be facing Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) in a Mask versus Mask match.
