Julius Creed Featured In Kendal Grey Video Package On WWE NXT
Julius Creed helped Kendal Grey prepare.
On the marquee for the August 4th edition of NXT on The CW is Kendal Grey defending her NXT Women’s Championship against Lola Vice in an NXT Underground match.
Video packages for Vice and Grey aired on the 7/28 NXT. During Grey’s hype video, her father and fellow WWE talent Julius Creed were included. They both were training Grey for her bout.
Grey credited Creed for being the reason that she’s in WWE. In late 2025, Grey said the following to The Takedown on Sports Illustrated:
“We stayed in contact through wrestling… And I remember after my second national title, he reached out one day saying congrats. Then he was like, ‘After you’re done, WWE next?’ And I thought he was joking.
I do give credit to him because what I’ve noticed, not so much now, but with N.I.L. sponsorships, they usually look for NCAA athletes and women’s wrestling wasn’t NCAA. And women’s wrestling, most people don’t even know it is a thing. So, I don’t even know if I would’ve had this opportunity if it wasn’t for him.”
NXT is moving towards its Heatwave Premium Live Event on August 30th.
