Kelani Jordan Says Main Roster Talent Congratulated Her On NXT Women’s Title Win
Kelani Jordan captured the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Heatwave, defeating Kendal Grey.
Jordan portrays a heel on NXT TV, but she received plenty of love from the main roster after she title victory.
“I got a lot of messages from main roster people that I wasn’t expecting. Not really anyone in NXT because I see them often. It was so cool. Liv Morgan shouted me out. She’s a top champion, so that was super cool. Messages from a lot of other main roster people like Roxy (Roxanne Perez), Maxxine (Dupri), Chelsea Green, another champion. That was so cool because those people have been through what I’m going through and they reached out to me,” she revealed on Busted Open Radio.
Kelani Jordan is set to defend her title against Jaida Parker on Tuesday’s NXT.
