LA Knight Says His ‘Unchosen’ Shirt Was Created In Rage After WWE Unreal Clip Went Viral

LA Knight says his “Unchosen” shirt was unplanned.
The ending of Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match didn’t go as it was originally planned. During Season 2 of WWE Unreal, fans saw Triple H talk to LA Knight following this match, explaining why the original finish mattered.
Speaking with Sam Roberts and Megan Morant on WWE Now at Fanatics Fest, Knight said the following about this clip.
“There’s a lot to address with that, that I’m not going to now. But I’ll just say, my version of things is a little different.”
A few minutes later in the interview, Knight said that his “Unchosen” merch that came out after this match was never supposed to happen. A different merch was going to get released, but after the clip went viral, Knight decided he wanted to have “Unchosen” and “My Way” written on his shirt instead.
“I had a completely different shirt that was coming out, and that clip you were talking about, a week before the shirt was coming out. I was like, ‘We’re gonna change this shit right now’. Sorry, I swear, because I just did. I was like, just make it ‘Unchosen’ and then put ‘My Way’ on the back, because that’s how I do things, whether I’m chosen or not, why? Because the people chose me. So with that being the case, look, was it the best selling shirt of all time? Probably not, but it was just me, in rage, just going, ‘We’re gonna do this my way.’ So yeah thank you for choosing me, that’s all I’m saying.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Knight talked about his Max Dupri character. Fans can read his full comments here.
