La Parka Captures AAA Latin American Championship At Ola de Calor

La Parka captures the gold.

Due to El Hijo del Vikingo being out of action with an ACL injury, the AAA Latin American Championship had to be vacated.

A series of qualifying matches took place to determine competitors for a Fatal 4-Way to crown a new champion. The title match took place at AAA Ola de Calor on August 30th. The following names competed in the bout:

• Damian Priest
• El Fiscal
• La Parka
• El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.

Priest was given a bye into the match because there was supposed to be a qualifying bout against Omos and Galeno, but Omos put Galeno on the shelf and ended up getting himself suspended from AAA.

At Ola de Calor, a new-look version of the Latin American Championship was revealed, and the conclusion of the match saw La Parka pin Fiscal to win the belt.
