Rey Mysterio suspends Omos.
Starting the in-ring action of the August 22nd Lucha Libre AAA on FOX was a singles match between Omos and Galeno.
The match did not end decisively, but Omos attacked Galeno afterward. It got to a point where Omos was about to launch the ring steps onto Galeno’s body, which was laid out by the collapsed commentary desk that he’d just been put through.
Coming out to stop that was AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio. Omos would go on to lift Mysterio off his feet for a chokeslam. Dorian Roldán was against Omos slamming Rey while the AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio encouraged Omos to do it.
Omos ended up putting Mysterio down. Mysterio then announced that Omos is suspended from AAA indefinitely. Omos responded by striking Rey, which sent him flying out of the ring.
Rey added that he never wants to see Omos in AAA again.
