Lady Frost: A Guy Like Mick Foley, He Really Is Magical

Lady Frost discusses Mick Foley and how he played a part in the character that she utilizes in pro wrestling to this day.

Over the course of her pro wrestling career, Frost has competed in a range of companies, including the likes of WWE, MLW, AEW and more. Now, she has spoken about an instance where a legendary wrestler encouraged her to continue with her current gimmick.

While speaking to The Sportster in a recent interview, Lady Frost told a story about Mick Foley encouraging her to continue with her Frost gimmick.

“It didn’t lead to my name per se, WWE gave me Jamie Frost when I first debuted. I was ready to jump ship abandon it, I was still on the independent scene obviously. But yeah, I did get stuck in a snowstorm with Mick Foley. He asked to be part of my match because of the whole gimmick and him loving Christmas, and, yeah, we went outside, rolled real snowballs from the snow outside, used them in the match, and a guy like that, he really is magical. It made that match magical. It made that moment magical, and it really just kind of solidified, like, I have to keep this, and when Mick Foley says, ‘no, this is it,’ I said, ‘all right, I’m running with the gimmick. Here we go.'”

Mick Foley is currently signed to AEW, where he works as part of the companies broadcast team.
