Lance Archer Confirms He Got Hurt On First Day Of Rehearsals For Steven Spielberg’s ‘Disclosure Day’

Lance Archer was able to fully recover ahead of filming.

The 2026 movie ‘Disclosure Day’ is a science fiction thriller, and among those who are part of the movie are All Elite Wrestling’s Lance Archer and Brian Cage. They filmed a wrestling scene.

Archer spoke about being part of the movie during his appearance on The Wednesday Hang with David Otunga. Archer also confirmed that he got hurt on the first day of rehearsals.

“I got hurt on the first day of the rehearsals. Just a freak accident. It was early in the morning. We were flown in on Thursday. We did rehearsals on Friday. We weren’t shooting until that following Tuesday. But, nobody knew exactly what they wanted from the scene so we were like, ‘Alright, we’ll just do a bunch of our moves and see what happens’ and send ‘em over there and see what he likes and what he doesn’t like and go from there. We were doing some stuff and just — I had a back surgery way back in 2017. It was at my L5-S1. I think I reaggravated it to the point where that night, that Friday night, I couldn’t walk and I didn’t know if I was gonna be able to make the shoot but, nobody really panicked. There was a guy named Don Moore. He was a big ole’ chiropractic guy; he was at FCW with us. He had his own studio there in the Long Island area and he took care of me for three straight days; Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Worked on me, got me some good medication and by Tuesday, when we got to the shoot, I was pretty much good to go…”
