Liv Morgan expresses her desire to shatter WWE records with a WWE Women’s World Title reign that would last over 1,000 days.
Heading into SummerSlam this weekend, Liv has been the WWE Women’s World Champion for over 100 days, despite having zero title defenses in that time span. For Morgan, he hopes to hold the title for ten times as long of a time.
While speaking on ESPN’s SportsCenter, Liv Morgan spoke about her upcoming title defense with IYO SKY at SummerSlam, noting that she hopes to hold the gold for over 1,000 days while also noting that IYO is one of the best in the world.
I’d love to keep my streak going. Like you said, I am 2-0 at SummerSlam. I have a great track record, so I’d love to keep that going. But most importantly, I want to retain my Women’s World Championship. I am over 100 days as champion, and I want to make it 1,000 days as champion. So, retaining this weekend and defeating IYO SKY, one of the best in the world. Reminding everyone just exactly who I am in that ring. I’m very much looking forward to that opportunity.”
Liv recently acknowledged her lack of title defenses across 100 days. You can read more about that here.
